Beckham holds his place but another ace is not called upon in Capello’s plans yet. England coach Fabio Capello has named his 23-man squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Kazakhstan and Balarus, leaving out Newcastle United ace Michael Owen and Aston Villa winger Ashley Young. Returning to the squad are in-form winger Shaun Wright-Phillips and Portsmouth forward Peter Crouch.
